We hired Aundrea in 2019 to do our engagement pictures, and from that day, I knew she would photograph Jesse's and my wedding day. To add to her list of services, she also was a great person to sit and talk to while we were getting ready. I shared a lot with her, thinking of all the baggage and stress of family and friends, and in return, shared her thoughts as well as her own experiences, putting my mind at ease. You don't even realize in these deep moments, she is taking pictures. Those candid shots end up being the most memorable, most fun to look at, and shine the brightest.

I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant that I wanted birth photography. Although I am a very shy person and fear the camera, Aundrea assured me that she would capture the best part of me and it would be beautiful. Our first session was the belly shoot and they where perfect! The months pushed on and it was time for baby. Not only did I have an amazing photographer but my own personal doula. She far exceeded my expectations as a photographer and it was available for me throughout the entire fifteen hours of the birthing process that ended in a c-section. Having her own two little ones at home I told her to go and she insisted on staying for the measuring and weighing of my new baby. She captured moments that are once in a lifetime and did such an amazing job. So happy with her work and would never hire another photographer for any of our families special moments. Aundrea went above and beyond to make our day more perfect than we could’ve ever dreamed of. She took the time to coordinate with our officiant and videographer to make everything so simple. The wedding planning process is so stressful, but Aundrea took away so many of our worries with her seamless planning, coordinating, and executing process. The jeep adventure was one of the best parts of the day. Aundrea packed it with absolutely anything we might want or need, she thought of it all! It helped us stay so present in the moment be able to just sit back and relax in the Jeep, enjoying all the scenery as she escorted us everywhere we wanted to go. As soon as the ceremony was over, the Jeep turned into a party bus. Aundrea was playing all the good music with her new subs and with our officiant and videographer being able to ride with us (thanks to Aundrea’s planning) it felt like the most fun afterparty. Aundrea has the best personality; we get so nervous about having people we don’t know in such intimate moments, but Aundrea immediately became a friend. We loved how she showed up and just jumped right in. It felt like we had known her forever and that we were just celebrating our day with a close friend. Had our annual family vacation to Montana this year and I actually Aundrea's "Photographer" title understates to the adventure, consultation, and genuine joy she offers. If you're from out of state, if you're looking for a local experience and maybe some stylish photos too, then here are three reasons why you should reach out to Aundrea immediately. (We hired her for our engagement shoot, a 2021 wedding, and an interim covid-elopement).
We googled/knew the beauty surrounding Glacier, but we would never have known the 15-mile 4x4 trail + scenic mountaintop Aundrea suggested for our elopement. Aundrea drove us up in one Jeep, family/friends in a 2nd Jeep. Way beyond what you expect from your photographer and lots of fun. Apart from having a mountain top to yourself, the coolest part was the surprise our friends/family had. No one was expecting an overlanding adventure up the mountain. They all arrived smiling ear to ear.
Super consultative, responsive, and professional. We wanted to be out of view, wanted scenic, wanted our dog present, and didn't want to spend the entire day driving. So what does Aundrea do? She sent us an epic photo portfolio of options to consider. Mountain tops, rivers, fire lookouts, etc... We chose one and then she planned the entire day. Departure time, location, sunset, angles, etc... all hands off, well beyond expectation from a photographer.

Oh where do I even begin?!! From the first e-mail I sent Aundrea, I knew she was who I wanted to photograph my family on our Montana vacation. You know when you first meet someone, and you feel like you've known them for years? Yeah, that's the way Aundrea makes you feel - comfortable in your skin and ready to do something epic! Aundrea is wildly adventurous and encouraging, such a treat for our elopement. Our afternoon ceremony at Pray Lake in Glacier National Park featured high winds and drizzling rain. Aundrea saw the weather as an opportunity to capture a GREAT photo with romanticism and movement. She taught us how quickly the weather in the park can change and how exciting it can be to lean into the experience. She could sense we were getting anxious about heavier rain, so we drove to a few other spots, including the base of a waterfall and the top of the mountain, to use the wind to our advantage. Aundrea encouraged me to play around and have fun in my wedding dress as she noticed I was being timid and very careful to keep it pristine. Her guidance and care for us produced absolutely breathtaking pictures. You can see what emotions we felt in each location. You look at the laughing photos, and you can understand the joy and happiness. At the end of our session, a mama and a baby bear crossed the road in front of us. We even saw wild horses running in a field up ahead. I couldn't have asked for a better day. We felt so free and so loved. We would hire Aundrea again in a heartbeat. She makes great art!
