Aundrea Marie Photography
I am not here to make you perform.
I am here to make this feel like you.
I photograph people through life - weddings, elopements, families, birth, portraits, boudoir, graduates, brands, and the pieces of your life that deserve more than stiff poses and pretty-but-empty photos.
My job is not just taking the picture. My job is reading the room, carrying the moving parts, helping you feel less awkward, and noticing what matters.
The real about page
I notice things. That is the whole point.
I notice when someone is nervous and trying to hide it. I notice when a kid is almost done cooperating. I notice when a parent is holding back tears, when a dress needs fixing, when the light is about to disappear, when the timeline is getting tight, and when someone needs direction instead of another vague “just be yourself.”
That is what makes my work different. I am not floating through your day waiting for something pretty to happen. I am paying attention to the whole thing.
The people, the pressure, the timing, the light, the energy, the tiny details you cared enough to choose, and the parts you may not realize matter until years later.
What my work is actually about
Presence. Memory. Proof. Emotion with structure.
I care about photographs because memory is not clean. It is sensory. It is emotional. It changes with time. It gets softened, sharpened, distorted, or lost depending on what we have to return to.
A good photo is not just evidence that something happened. It can bring you back into the temperature of the air, the sound of someone laughing, the way your body felt in a place, the way your people looked at you when they thought no one was watching.
That is why I care so much about the full experience. If the day feels rushed, hollow, over-posed, or disconnected from who you are, the photos feel that too.
I am not interested in photos that look good but feel like strangers.
What Riley + Ashton said
“She is one of the best people you’ll ever meet.”
“If you are looking to elope in the Glacier National Park area - Aundrea is hands down the BEST photographer you could pick! Outside of her amazing photography skills, she knows the surrounding area and park like the back of her hand. She helped plan & create the perfect day for our elopement - from location scouting before our big day, driving us to and from locations, to coming prepared with everything from shoeshine and snacks - on top of capturing every little moment during the day. And aside from being such a talented photographer - she is one of the best people you'll ever meet. We instantly connected beyond photographer and client - she joined us a month later to celebrate our elopement announcement with family & friends. I couldn't recommend her more! Anyone who is looking for a photographer in Western Montana should hire Aundrea.”
About me, but make it useful
Speed dating style, because personality absolutely matters.
You are not just hiring a camera. You are hiring the person who will be in your space, reading the room, directing you when needed, managing chaos, noticing the weird little things, and helping the day feel less like a performance.
So yes — here is the personality download. Fast, honest, slightly unhinged in the most useful way.
This is the part where the “about me” section earns its keep.
Round one
How I move through work and life.
- Strong values: My compass in work and life.
- Open-minded: Eager to explore new perspectives.
- Eccentric: Proudly dancing to my own beat.
- Spontaneous: Ready for adventure at a moment’s notice.
- Montana born and raised: My roots run deep here.
- Jeep enthusiast: It is more than a car. It is a lifestyle.
- Huckleberry picking: I can tell you whatever you want to know about them. Ask me. I dare you.
- Hiker: I would like to think so, but AllTrails says otherwise.
- Google Maps: I have 300+ lakes pinned in a 100-mile radius of my house.
- Special interests: A rotating gallery of things that capture my curiosity each week.
Round two
What that means when I photograph you.
- Deep thinker: Always digging beneath the surface.
- Business owner: Driven by vision and execution.
- Neurodivergent: ADHD + Autism means pattern recognition, hyperfocus, and a brain that does not stop scanning.
- Thrives under pressure: I do my best work with a bit of heat.
- Meticulously organized: Details rarely escape me.
- Arachnophobia: Yes, spiders are my kryptonite.
- Taurus: Grounded, determined, and very committed.
- 90’s kid: Nostalgia is a frequent visitor.
- Mental health advocate: Committed to understanding people with more depth than “just smile and look happy.”
Translation: I am observant, direct, prepared, curious, fast-thinking, emotionally aware, and very hard to throw off. That is exactly who you want behind the camera.
What I actually do
More than show up with cameras.
Yes, I photograph. Obviously. But the reason people trust me is because I can handle the parts around the photos too.
I plan.
Timelines, locations, lighting, logistics, routes, backup ideas, and the “wait, how does this actually work?” pieces. I do not expect you to magically know what makes sense.
I guide without controlling.
I will not leave you standing there awkwardly, but I am also not going to pose the life out of you. Direction should make you feel more like yourself, not less.
I adapt fast.
Weather changes. People get overwhelmed. Kids have opinions. Timelines shift. Montana does what Montana wants. I am good at reading what is happening and adjusting without making it everyone’s problem.
I notice the real stuff.
The hands, the nervous laugh, the way your people react, the quiet tenderness, the chaos, the party, the details, and the tiny pieces that would be easy to miss if someone were only chasing portfolio shots.
I make people comfortable.
Awkward people are my people. Nervous people are my people. “We have never done this before” people are extremely normal here.
I carry the experience.
I think ahead so you can be present. That is the entire point. The experience should not fall apart because you were expected to manage everything yourself.
The kind of people I work best with
You want real. You still want it handled.
My people do not need fake perfection. They do not need every second micromanaged into something sterile. They want to feel like themselves and still know someone competent is paying attention.
- You want guidance, but not a photographer who turns you into a prop.
- You care about the feeling of the day, not just the final gallery.
- You want someone who can think, lead, adjust, and make things easier.
- You want photos that feel personal instead of copied from every other session online.
- You want honesty, clarity, comfort, and someone who gives a damn.
What clients keep saying
The photos matter. The experience matters too.
Reviews keep coming back to the same things: comfort, organization, location knowledge, planning, preparedness, ease, laughter, trust, and the feeling that they did not have to carry everything alone.
“She basically organized our entire day, got us from point A to B to C, and it felt like we were just hanging out with a friend.”
Micayla Bean“She is a full wedding service with ‘Photographer’ as her title.”
Sydney Ohrn“She planned, organized, led and, of course, photographed everything. Without her, we would have made concessions.”
Kris + Ashley“We genuinely do not think that anyone else could have matched the energy and comfort that Aundrea brought.”

What Lisa + Mikey said
“Aundrea was the friend we needed.”
“My husband and I eloped to Montana in August 2021. We chose MT because I stumbled onto Aundrea's site and instantly fell in love with her documentary/candid style. On our first FaceTime call, she made us feel at ease and assured us she would help every step of the way. Needless to say, Aundrea exceeded every expectation, reassured every worry, and truly helped us plan our intimate elopement. She helped with the little details I got stuck on, had fantastic recommendations (shout out to our private chef Kallai and barber Tucker!), and even picked up the flowers the morning of. By the time we finally met Aundrea, we felt like we had known her forever. It was just my husband and I the day of, and Aundrea was the friend we needed as our day unfolded. She caught every moment without feeling like there was a camera in our faces which was super important for us. Aundrea was an integral piece of our elopement and the whole Montana trip. Lastly, we could not be more obsessed with our photos. They are phenomenal and breathtaking. Most importantly, they are us. Thank you Aunny!”
The part where you stop carrying all of it
You can exhale now.
This is where I step in.
The Montana part is Important
I am not guessing my way around this area.
My children are 6th generation Montanan. I was born and raised here. I know what the weather can do, how the light changes, how far things really are, where timelines go to die, and why “it looks close on the map” is one of the funniest lies Montana tells visitors.
That matters whether you are eloping in Glacier, bringing your family here on vacation, planning wedding portraits, or trying to choose a location that actually works.
Pretty scenery is everywhere here. The difference is knowing how to use it without turning the whole experience into a stressful scavenger hunt.
I am structured without being stiff. Fun without being chaotic. Direct without being cold. Sentimental without turning into a walking Pinterest caption.
If this sounds like what you need
Tell me what you are trying to build. The real version.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before reaching out. You need to know what matters, what you are unsure about, and whether you want someone who can help carry the experience instead of just showing up to photograph it.
Send the inquiry. Tell me the real version. The scenery, the people, the nerves, the ideas, the chaos, the thing you are excited about, and the thing you do not want to regret later.
HERE ARE THE NEXT STEPS!
